Paper Formatting Guidelines
Formatting Rules
To ensure uniformity and professionalism across all published conference proceedings, authors must strictly adhere to the SICET formatting guidelines. We strongly recommend downloading and utilizing the official SICET paper template before beginning your manuscript.
General Specifications
- Paper Size: A4 standard size.
- Page Limit: Recommended 5 to 8 pages, including references and appendices.
- Margins: Maintain proper margins as specified in the template.
- Font Usage: Use consistent, readable fonts (e.g., Times New Roman or standard sans-serif) as defined by the template.
- Heading Hierarchy: Use a clear, logical heading structure (H1, H2, H3) to organize content.
Figures, Tables & Equations
Visual aids and mathematical formulas must be presented clearly:
- High-Resolution Figures: All images, charts, and graphs must be high-resolution and clearly legible. Do not use blurry screenshots.
- Readable Tables: Tables should be properly formatted, fit within the page margins, and have clear headers.
- Numbering: Ensure sequential figure numbering (e.g., Fig. 1, Fig. 2) and sequential table numbering (e.g., Table 1, Table 2).
- Equations: All mathematical equations should be properly formatted and numbered sequentially where applicable.
Citations & Export Quality
- Consistent Citations: Use a consistent citation style throughout the manuscript.
- Reference List: Include a complete and properly formatted reference list at the end of the paper.
- PDF Quality: Export the final document as a high-quality PDF.
- No Passwords: Do not add password protection or encryption to the PDF.
- Text Searchability: The PDF must have selectable text. Do not upload image-only scanned documents.
