Author Guidelines
Authorship Rules
Proper attribution of authorship is critical for maintaining academic integrity. SICET requires all submitting authors to adhere strictly to our authorship guidelines.
- Maximum Authors: A single submission may have a maximum of three (3) authors.
- First Author: Author 1 is mandatory and is considered the primary contact and main contributor to the research.
- Co-Authors: Author 2 and Author 3 are optional.
Required Author Details
For every author included in the submission, the following information must be provided accurately:
- Full Name: Ensure correct spelling as it will appear on the final certificate and publication.
- Department: The specific academic or corporate department the author belongs to.
- Institution: The full, official name of the university or organization (no abbreviations).
- Email Address: A valid email address for official communication.
Important Warning
The final SICET paper, conference proceedings, and all official communications will use the exact author details submitted in the system. Verify all author information carefully before final submission. Any changes requested after final approval will require explicit administrative permission and may incur delays.
Authorship Ethics
To ensure fairness and accountability:
- Author Order: The order of authors must be agreed upon by all parties before submission. The submitted order will appear in the final published paper.
- Consent: All listed authors must have consented to be included and must approve the final version of the submission.
- No Guest Authorship: Individuals who did not significantly contribute to the research should not be listed as authors.
- No False Affiliations: Claiming affiliation with an institution where the author is not actively enrolled or employed is strictly prohibited.
