Abstract Submission Guidelines
Overview
The abstract submission is the first step to participating in the Skibui International Conference on Emerging Technologies. An abstract is a brief summary of your research, designed to help our committee evaluate the relevance and quality of your work.
Eligibility & Fees
- Who can submit: Students, faculty members, independent researchers, industry professionals, and registered institution accounts.
- Submission Fee: Abstract submission is completely free. No payment is required at this stage.
Required Information
During the abstract submission process, the primary author must provide the following details:
- Paper Title: A clear, concise title reflecting the research.
- Domain & Category: The specific engineering or technology domain your research falls under.
- Primary Author Details: Full name, department, institution name, and a valid email address.
- Keywords: 4 to 6 relevant keywords to index your paper.
Abstract Content & PDF Requirements
Your abstract document must adhere to the following standards:
- Language: English only.
- Word Count: Recommended between 200–300 words.
- Structure: Should clearly state the background, objective, methodology, results (or expected results), and conclusion.
- Format: PDF format only. Maximum file size is 2 MB.
- Quality: Ensure the PDF contains readable text. Avoid image-only scanned PDFs where possible. Do not password-protect the PDF.
DOs
- Ensure original research content.
- Proofread for grammatical errors.
- Include clear contact information.
- Submit before the deadline.
DON'Ts
- Do not include the full paper text.
- Do not submit locked/encrypted PDFs.
- Do not copy existing published abstracts.
- Do not submit multiple times for the same research.
After Submission
Once submitted, your submission status becomes Abstract Submitted. It then moves to Processing while our admin committee reviews the PDF.
If Verified: The status updates to Waiting for Paper Submission, and the option to upload your full paper will be unlocked.
If Declined: The status updates to Declined. The admin will provide a specific reason, which you can view in your dashboard.
